Gary is co-head of the F&C multi-manager team. He shares overall responsibility for the performance of the team’s portfolios with Rob Burdett and leads research teams for UK income, US, Asia and emerging market equities. Gary joined the group in 2007. Prior to this he was at Credit Suisse from 2001, jointly responsible with Rob Burdett for their multi-manager funds. He joined from Rothschild Asset Management Limited, where he was a main board director and was jointly responsible for their multi-manager business. Gary began his career in 1981 in private client fund management where his responsibilities extended to a specific focus on asset allocation and stock research. He moved into the multi-manager field in 1992. Gary is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Rob is co-head of the F&C multi-manager team. He shares responsibility for the performance of the team’s portfolios with Gary Potter and leads research teams for UK, Japan and European equities. Rob joined the group in 2007. Prior to this he was at Credit Suisse from 2001, being jointly responsible with Gary Potter for their multi-manager funds. Prior to that he was at Rothschild Asset Management where he was a main board director and jointly responsible for their multi-manager business. Rob began his career in stockbroking in 1985, moving into multi-manager field in 1991. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds their diploma.

Bill McQuaker joined Fidelity Multi Asset in October 2016. He has three decades of investment experience, joining Fidelity from Henderson Global Investors, where he was Head of Multi Asset. Before this, Bill worked at Credit Suisse, where he held roles in European equity strategy and quantitative research. Over his extensive career, Bill has developed a rigorous and disciplined investment approach. He has a deep understanding of asset class behaviour, and substantial experience in managing multi asset investment strategies to deliver specific outcomes for clients. Bill graduated from Edinburgh University in 1985, with a BComm degree in Business.

Dean Cheeseman is a Portfolio Manager on the UK‐based multi‐asset team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2017. Prior to joining Janus Henderson, he was a portfolio manager and member of the asset allocation committee at Mercer from 2011 where he contributed tactical asset allocation ideas for all multi‐asset and equity strategies. Before that, Dean was with F&C Asset Management from 2007 to 2010, finishing his tenure as head of funds. Prior to F&C Asset Management, he was head of developed markets with Forsyth Partners from 2001 and head of collective investments at Morgan Stanley’s Quilter from 1998. He began his career as an investment analyst with Chartwell House Asset Management in 1995.

Dean Cheeseman holds a BA (Hons) in Financial Services from Nottingham Trent University and has 23 years of financial industry experience.

Nick Watson is a Portfolio Manager on the UK‐based multi‐asset team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held, as part of the Henderson team, since 2012. Mr. Watson has responsibility for asset allocation and fund manager research, with a particular focus on the Core Multi‐Asset solutions range of products. He joined Henderson in 2007 as a graduate trainee and rotated through various global equity products and fixed income. In 2009, he became a research and insight manager across Global Distribution, which included involvement in Henderson’s acquisitions of New Star and Gartmore.

Nick Watson graduated with an honors degree from the University of Exeter in Economics. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He has 11 years of financial industry experience.

Nick Peters is the Lead Portfolio Manager of the new Fidelity Sustainable Multi Asset fund range. He has over 20 years of investment experience and joined Fidelity in 2012 from Barclays Wealth. Before that, he spent 15 years as an equity portfolio manager at Henderson managing a number of European equity portfolios for clients. Nick is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from Exeter University.

Chris Forgan is a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Solutions & Multi Asset. Chris has 24 years of investment experience and joined Fidelity in 2017. Prior to joining Fidelity, Chris was a Portfolio Manager at Henderson Global Investors, in their Multi Asset team focusing on their income fund range. Previously Chris worked as an analyst at Henderson Global Investors, a senior performance analyst at First State Investments and began his career on the trading floor at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. Chris has an BA (Hons) Marketing Administration from the University of Northumbria.

Ayesha Akbar is the Co-Portfolio Manager of the new Fidelity Sustainable Multi Asset fund range. She has almost 20 years of investment experience and has been a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity since 2008, having previously worked in a multi-manager capacity at Barclays Wealth and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Ayesha holds an Msc in Accounting & Finance and a BSc in Economics, both from the London School of Economics and is a CFA Charterholder.

Scott, a member of the 10-strong Multi-Manager team and has over 20 years’ experience in researching funds. Prior to joining the group in July 2014, he was a senior investment manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he was responsible for a number of retail and institutional multi-manager portfolios. Prior to that he was a member of the Credit Suisse Asset Management multi-manager team having previously been hired by Rob and Gary when they were at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Scott, together with Paul Green, manages the daily performance analysis of funds in addition to his broader fund selection role. Scott leads the sector research teams for the US, Asia, Global Emerging markets and also is a member of the Specialist Investments team. Scott is a member of the BMO AM Multi-Manager LLP. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Nottingham Trent University.

John is a fund manager and analyst with 35 years’ experience managing multi-asset, multi-manager funds and portfolios. John leads the investment team managing a range of target risk funds and portfolios as well as specialist managed investment solutions. Before joining Liontrust in 2013, John was a co-founder and CIO of North Investment Partners, a specialist investment boutique providing bespoke outsourced managed solutions working in partnership with financial advisers. Prior to co-founding North in 2005, he was Director of Multi-Manager Investments at Henderson Global Investors, joining in 1996. John began his investment career at NM Rothschild & Sons in 1985 and gained his initial investment experience working in the private client investment team. He has served for many years in an oversight capacity on investment committees for charities and financial advisers. Outside of work, he is a keen golfer and a season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur FC.

James is a fund manager and analyst with 17 years’ investment management experience, of which the past 14 were focused on managing multi-asset, multi-manager funds and portfolios. James supports John Husselbee in leading the Multi-Asset investment team and works with team members in managing target risk funds and portfolios as well as specialist managed investment solutions. Before joining Liontrust, James was Director of Investment Management at Momentum Global Investment Management, where he led Momentum’s global investment team and solutions strategy for a global client list including institutional and retail clients. Prior to that, James worked for Avebury Asset Management where he managed global bond portfolios for institutional clients. James began his investment career at NW Brown Investment Management in 2004 and gained experience in managing UK equity portfolios. James holds a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder. In his spare time, James enjoys travel and spending time with his young family.

Joe joined the Multi Manager team at Schroders as Product Specialist in March 2014 following the acquisition of Cazenove Capital, and prior to this was part of the Schroders UK Advisory team which he joined in June 2010. He began his career in September 2005, working in Business Development within the Wealth Management industry after graduating from the University of Leeds with a Joint Honours degree in Spanish & Business Management.

Amanda Sillars joined Jupiter in 2011 and is currently a fund manager and ESG director in the Independent funds team, which is responsible for managing the Jupiter Merlin Portfolios.

Before joining Jupiter, Amanda spent five years at JP Morgan Asset Management as investment director and executive director. Amanda also led the corporate governance team for emerging markets, Europe and Asia (EMEA). Prior to this, Amanda spent ten years at JP Morgan Private Bank and Flemings, as a fund analyst and vice president.

Amanda is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (1999) and a fellow of the US Securities Exchange Commission Series 7 and Series 3. She has also gained an Award in Pensions (DB & DC) Management Trustee Exam (2008).

Alastair joined Jupiter in March 2015 as a Product Specialist in the Jupiter Independent Funds Team, which is responsible for managing the Jupiter Merlin Portfolios.

Before joining Jupiter, Alastair began his career in 1985 with stockbroker Laurie, Milbank & Co. He spent over 20 years in equity research, including as Deputy Head of equity research for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Merrill Lynch; and Principal, Partner and Head of Portfolio Management at Triple Point LLP, a fund management house specialising in Venture Capital Trusts and Enterprise Investment Schemes.
